In the game of “Snake & Ladder”, the snake that bites you sometimes at numbers 31, 59, 67, 83 & 99 and once again makes it harder for you to reach your victory mark or destination. Same way, sometimes the race for the success of life is put on reverse and then taken far back, on our journey, we meet many people and consider them to be our well wishers to a great extent, but when they get the opportunity, they immediately bite us like the snakes. Pakistan is the biggest example of this ludo snake for the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
This usurping snake named Pakistan is forcibly occupying a part of our state Azad Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan, it has repeatedly bitten the people of Jammu and Kashmir like the same ludo snake, repeatedly removed us from the destination of freedom.
Pakistan first stung us by dividing our independent state in the form of a tribal attack on October 22, 1947, then, for the second time, on January 5, 1949, they introduced a new two-option "accession to India or Pakistan" resolution in place of the three-option in the UNO Security Council.
On April 28, 1949, they separated Gilgit-Baltistan from Azad Kashmir in the form of the Karachi Agreement, after that, this poisonous snake bit a part of the body of our state in March 1963 by gifting Shaksgam Valley to China. Once again in 1966, it stung in the form of the Tashkent Agreement with India in the form of occupation of our waters, then in July 1972, through the Simla Agreement, the Kashmir issue, which was a global dispute and a human rights issue of 20 million people, turned it into a bilateral border dispute between Pakistan and India.
Then in 1973, Pakistan first violated the State Subject Rule in Gilgit-Baltistan and made a dangerous sting, and in the same year, again in the form of the Act 74, it took away many powers of the Azad Kashmir government. Then in 1990, the Kashmir Council was formed and the so-called Azad Kashmir government took away the powers of about 56 departments and handed over this Pakistani Institution to the Kashmir Council.
Again in 1990, the armed struggle that started in 1988, i.e. the armed guerrilla war of national independence, to crash and thwart, its paid armed jihadi forces entered Indian occupied Kashmir and killed the purely national independence movement and guerrilla war as a religious war.
In the same year, fearing the ideology of Shaheed Maqbool Butt, eternal sacrifice and fame, in opposition to it and to reduce the importance and usefulness of Maqbool Butt's martyrdom day, Jamaat-e-Islami was made a pawn and declared a public holiday on February 5 and celebrated fake solidarity day with the Kashmiris.
Then, implementing Schedule IV in Gilgit-Baltistan, the same usurper and hypocrite snake finalized the formula for the division of our motherland state of Jammu and Kashmir against the will of the people by forming a mutual alliance with India. Pakistan-India Chiefs Narendra Modi and Imran Khan signed a formal agreement under the mediation of the United States. After signing the agreement, India abolished Articles 370 and 35A of its Constitution on August 5, 2019.
On 25th May, 2022, Pakistan traded Yasin Malik with India. Yasin was sentenced to life imprisonment by an Indian court. On the same day Pakistan hosted a protest named “Azadi March” to divert attention from India’s atrocities towards Yasin. Daughter of Yasin had also requested Imran Khan to do his “Azadi March” after two days which was not done. No news regarding Yasin Malik was telecast in Pakistan since morning that day. There were protests all over the world against Malik’s conviction and no country was banned to hold these protests but those who went to demonstrate in Islamabad were arrested and fabricated charges were filed against them.
Now, Pakistan’s intention is to change the demographics of our region and erase the identity of the people of AJK with the census 2023.
This is a brief history of the 75 years of this dangerous poisonous snake Pakistan. After knowing the history of this 75-year-old Pakistani hypocrisy and enmity, now if the people of the state of Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit-Baltistan do not understand and then we consider the snake as our lawyer, ambassador, sympathizer and elder brother and trust him and give him a chance to sting and bite us again, then no power in the world can save us from this humiliating and worst slavery. We can’t achieve the great blessing and destination of national freedom, because Allah does not change the condition of a nation unless the people tries to change their own condition.
